Tell us what you did before image consultancy?
I studied fashion and textile design and work as a freelancer over the years.
I also worked as an event stylist. After having my two children, I gave myself a career break.
What made you choose to become an image consultant? What drew you to it?
After a long career break, I wanted to refresh my knowledge by becoming an image consultant and colour consultant to polish my skills. I always had a good eye on fashion and style; all I needed was to refresh myself from different angles.
What made you decide that it was time to do your training and take up this new career?
I was planning to go back to my career where I left off. In the meantime, I was planning to move back to Europe from Australia, so it was a good time to invest in myself.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about fashion. I love shopping, I love giving advice, and I love personal development. I love healthy life style (feeling good ,looking good), I love creating different looks and expressing myself through my personal image.
Who do you most enjoy working with? How do you love to help them?
I love to work with people (male or female) who don’t believe in their own beauty or capability. The frustration about change boils down to whether a belief is eliminated or not. When I help my clients eliminate beliefs that cause an issue, that issue changes, improving their style and image.
How does having a good image help people in their lives?
Having a good image eliminates beliefs and brings confidence and happiness beneath their own skin.
How can you help people create a more impactful and relevant image for themselves?
The only way I can help is by getting to know my clients and blending their wishes and desires with my mixed knowledge and skill sets accordingly.
Anything else you’d like to tell us?
I am a firm believer in lifelong learning, and I have also undertaken training in areas such as holistic health and wellness, behavioural psychology, and child development, among others, all of which contribute to my understanding of how we think and act. Personal development empowers me to make positive changes in my life and influence the lives of others.
