In-Person Experiential Training

Our 1 Day Style Practical adds practical training and knowledge to the online Women’s and Men’s Style Training (prerequisite: Online Women’s Style Course).

In-person practical training to prepare you for your personal consultations in the wardrobe and in-store using the knowledge and theory you have learned in our Personal Stylist and Image Mastery Training program:

This training covers:

• Wardrobe Auditing – we go into a real-life client’s wardrobe (not a rack or two of clothing in the studio) and get the experience of working with a real client in their wardrobe.  From assessing what they have and deciding what stays and goes, to creating a shopping list to fill wardrobe gaps.  Plus we create outfits for the client that express their personality and style recipe from their wardrobe.
• Personal Shopping – we go shopping with our client (that we’ve done the wardrobe audit with) to find the clothes on the shopping list we created during the wardrobe audit.  We do a pre-shop to plan the trip and then take the client and get into the dressing room with them.  Your client is not a fellow personal-styling student as this doesn’t give you an accurate experience of working with clients.
