Tell us what you did before image consultancy?

I’ve always worked in the community services sector in roles such as child protection, women’s crisis support, homelessness and most recently managing a Mental Health Community Support Program. These roles taught me resilience, compassion and the importance of empowerment, which I now bring into my work with clients.

What made you choose to become an image consultant? What drew you to it?

I’ve seen firsthand how self-perception can shape confidence. I believe true transformation happens when we feel good both inside and out. Colour and style are powerful tools in that process – they’re practical, positive, and deeply personal. I was drawn to this work because it allows me to guide women on a journey that feels both empowering and fun.

What made you decide that it was time to do your training and take up this new career?

After experiencing my own colour analysis, I spent a year enjoying the ripple effect it had in my wardrobe, my confidence, and comfortability with my uniqueness. One morning I woke with absolute certainty… I wanted to give other women this same gift. After years of supporting people through some of life’s hardest challenges, moving into image consultancy felt like a natural step: still empowering, but in a way that’s self-motivated, uplifting, creative, and confidence-building.

What are you passionate about?

Helping women see themselves clearly, sometimes for the first time in years, and showing them that beauty isn’t something to strive for – it’s something they already have.

Who do you most enjoy working with? How do you love to help them?

I love working with everyday women who may feel a little stuck or uninspired and just need some guidance to reconnect with their best selves. My favourite part is when they see their reflection and light up, realising how colour can completely change the way they feel.

How does having a good image help people in their lives?

When you feel at ease in your own skin and confident in how you present yourself, it creates a ripple effect. It changes how others see you, how you show up in relationships and even how you approach new opportunities. It’s less about the clothes themselves and more about the freedom and confidence they unlock.

How can you help people create a more impactful and relevant image for themselves?

By giving them simple, practical tools that make personal style feel achievable. Colour analysis takes away the guesswork and builds a strong foundation to work from. From there it’s about curating pieces that reflect who they are now, not who they feel they should be. The result is an image that feels authentic, current and empowering.
